We took our girls for their first visit to the field today and had a fantastic time. We were met with a warm greeting, and being able to let our hyperactive springer straight out of the car was amazing! The field is beautifully kept, with fresh water left out for us. Will definitely be revisiting!

Our first visit yesterday was above and beyond any expectations we may have had. We have three rescue salukis and a dachshund. They are all reactive dogs, one way or another, and the salukis have high energy levels and are renowned for having little or no recall. To be able to let them off lead and do what they do best, run like the wind, was a joy to watch. The field is very secure with high fencing and the cae enclosure is so well thought out. Joyce and Peter a wonderful couple and we can’t thank them enough for providing this amazing and very much needed service in this area. We had four exhausted and very happy dogs at the end of the hour. Suzie, Barnie, Pippy and Cloomie can’t wait for their next visit and neither can we!

First time to this secure field... and it's fabulous! Brilliant set up with the car/secure parking - as my spaniel goes crazy as soon as I stop the car - so I could let him out and deal with the other dog and get my stuff together. Great set-up for people too - chairs, water for dogs, even spare poo bags (should you forget). I particularly liked the nice, calm dog in a nearby garden... which sounds odd, as one of my dogs is dog-reactive. But actually, my dog barked once and then allowed me to practice 'watch the dog/gets lots of nice treats'. The rest of the hour was very calm and relaxing. My spaniel did find the hole at the far end too (I thought rabbits maybe) and tried to get under the fence, but I distracted him - and it looked like it may have be reinforced recently? Great place to relax and practice training/play games with the dogs.
I was pleased to meet you this morning, Sarah, & pleased you enjoyed your visit. We are very pleased to have any security aspect pointed out as this is something that we concern ourselves with at all times. Just to assure you, the Robust Deer fencing is buried at least a foot underground, & curved away outwards to prevent rabbits burrowing, unseen of course. In addition further Rabbit netting was added at the lower point to prevent small dogs attempting to escape. I hope this gives you the peace we want you to have. Thank you for your bookings & we look forward to seeing you again soon. Best Regards. Joy & Peter

This was a super place to let our puppy run free during her first season. We had hoped to combine exercise with some training, but she was so excited by the space and smells there was no chance of focus this time. Love the ‘airlock’ for car parking. She quickly spotted the entrance hole to either a fox or badger home immediately outside the fence on the far side, and we thought that a previous doggy guest might have started a small scrape there. Might it be useful to add additional reinforcement at that point?
Hello Elizabeth, Thank you for your feedback and pleased your puppy had a bit of an adventure play. Training next time, hopefully. We are always glad to have any security aspect pointed out to us as it is our top priority. The Deer fencing goes below ground to deter any attempts rabbits etc., may have to burrow and we patrol the field regularly but we always like to have any weak spots pointed out to give attention to if needed. Look forward to see you again soon. Best Regards Joy & Peter

Great secure field to let my 2 huskies off lead and run free, resulting in two very happy worn out pooches.

Came over with my daughter in law and grand kids plus all our dogs, they all had a good run around, great place to practice recall. Secure parking to field is a great idea.

My youngest dog became reactive to other dogs a few months ago, we're working on fixing it but in the meantime he has to stay on lead for all regular walks. Being able to bring him to this fabulous secure field means I can let him off lead with complete peace of mind. He can run around and wrestle with my other dog or just mooch around sniffing and I can completely relax and enjoy playing with my boys :-)

We had a great time in the Dogs Jump for Joy field today, our new rescue dog really enjoyed being able to run around securely whilst still being able to see us. We got to relax in the sunshine too so we were all happy! Lovely warm welcome, with excellent gate security and parking as well.
